Hello dear friends! It's in the 80's here in Arizona and my wanderlust
is at an all time high! Mother's Day is on my mind, and I've been
painting some images from travels to Oregon and other beautiful places
while reminiscing about family times together.

My mother and stepfather both had a love of Nature and together they
tended the Umpqua River Lighthouse for many summers. Located in Oregon
where the Umpqua River empties into the Pacific Ocean, Ken gave tours
of the lighthouse and Gail, my Mom, ran the small souvenir shop. Ken
passed recently to join my Mother somewhere on the other side. The
featured image, "A River They Shared" revisits the place, imagining
seeing things through their eyes.
